Hey everyone!
If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be balancing dreams of starting a wellness center, training as a law clerk, diving into real estate, AND possibly working at a women’s boutique, I’d have laughed – nervously! Yet, here I am, juggling all these incredible opportunities. Life has been a beautiful whirlwind lately, and while it’s been intense, I feel more inspired than ever.
On another note, I’m not surprised that Donald Trump won the presidential election (again). But while the headlines scream about the national stage, I’ve realized that my heart is invested in what’s happening closer to home. Local elections hold the power to create real change where it matters most: in our communities. They affect our schools, housing, parks, and even resources for those overcoming challenges similar to mine. The decisions made by local leaders will shape the support networks available to families like mine, and I feel an incredible responsibility to stay engaged in this process.
This past year has been a reminder that growth isn’t always linear. My journey has taught me to laugh at my own stumbles – like in interviews where I can’t help but talk a bit too much (it’s all passion, I swear!). But each of these steps, no matter how imperfect, feels like it’s aligning with something greater. I’m hopeful for what’s ahead, both for myself and for our local communities.
Thank you to everyone cheering me on – your support is everything. Here’s to building, laughing, and voting for change where it counts most!
